Two more Top247 visitors expected at Florida this weekend
Florida is set to host a crucial matchup against Texas A&M this weekend, and Gators coaches are expecting two important visitors on the recruiting trail.
The Gators are fresh off a 31-28 victory over rival Tennessee, moving to 6-2 on the season. Now, they turn their attention to a key SEC East clash with Texas A&M, which has lost two of its last three contests.
But while the Gators will be focused on the field, they'll also have an eye on the future. According to 247Sports, two top-100 recruits are expected to visit Gainesville over the weekend to take in the game and meet with coaches.
The first visitor is five-star safety Kamari Wilson, the No. 12 overall recruit in the 2024 class. Wilson is a standout at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and has offers from all over the country. Florida is considered one of the favorites to land Wilson, who has visited Gainesville several times in the past.
The second visitor is four-star defensive lineman David Bailey, the No. 67 overall recruit in the 2024 class. Bailey plays at Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Detroit, Michigan, and is one of the top defensive line prospects in the country. Florida has made Bailey a priority target, and he's expected to make a decision on his future in the coming months.
The Gators are hoping to make a strong impression on both Wilson and Bailey this weekend. If they can do that, it would be a big boost to the program's recruiting efforts.
