The Gathering have announced a 30th anniversary deluxe edition of their debut album, Always. The new edition will be released on May 4th, 2024, via Season of Mist. It will include the original album, which was released in 1994, as well as a bonus disc of unreleased material. The bonus disc will feature demos, live tracks, and remixes.
The Gathering are a Dutch gothic metal band that formed in 1994. They have released nine studio albums, two live albums, and two compilation albums. The band is known for their atmospheric and melodic sound. Their debut album, Always, was a critical and commercial success. It reached number one on the Dutch album chart and was certified gold by the NVPI.
