Ron MacLean's Wife Cari Comes Back from the Brink

In July 1959, Ron MacLean Sr. of Sydney, Nova Scotia, married Sarah Lila MacDonald from Iona, Nova Scotia, at 1 Air Division Metz. The couple had a daughter, Cari.
In 2012, Cari's life took a dramatic turn. While training for a marathon, she suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blockage in an artery in her lungs. The condition is often fatal, but Cari was lucky to survive.
After months of rehabilitation, Cari is now back on her feet and living a full life. She is grateful for the support of her family and friends, and she is determined to make the most of her second chance.
